what did you think about all the time? bleaching your skin??

Nooooooo i meant that I always think about how I would be perceived if I were famous in the “light/white skin” industry.

What do you think about the black women of today who bleach there skin Rihanna, Nick Minaj, Tyra Banks or even our own Africans? Would you, if that meant promotions n fame?

I use to think about that all the time. I still do but I just have to remain confident in my own skin. Bleaching in the long run is bad for your skin so I wouldnt do it. But honestly sometimes I wonder if the pressure of the industry will tempt me. I pray it wont though and I’ll remain confident. One thing thats good to see is that im seeing more darker skinned girls on tv like lupita, tika sumpter, gabriel union, sevyn streeter, justine skye.. Just to name a few. I feel like society is embracing brown girls more so I should be fine.
